THE LODGE AT EAGLE RIDGE Senior
Living donates $27,100 to three
local non-profit, senior housing
groups.

WA, August 1, 2005 –
In May of this year, The Lodge
at Eagle Ridge Retirement Community
located at 1600 Eagle Ridge
Drive South, in Renton, was
sold and is now managed by Gencare,
Inc. As part of their commitment
to Renton Community, the new
ownership has made donations
to three non-profit organizations
that provide senior housing
resources: $10,000 to Senior
Services of King County, $7,100
to The Archdiocesan Housing
Authority and $10,000 to ElderHealth
Northwest.
The Lodge
at Eagle Ridge Senior Community,
the former location of the Renton
Eagles Lodge, is on a four and
a quarter acre campus and has
91 apartments and 8 cottages.
In addition, there are 29 state
of the art apartments under
construction, enlarging the
campus to 128 apartment homes
and cottages. All living accommodations
are month-to-month rentals.
The Lodge at Eagle Ridge provides
a full menu of services, including
meals served between 7AM and
6PM, activity rooms, private
dining room, scheduled transportation,
assisted living and along with
the new addition, a private
theater and aerobics swimming
pool. Most of the units have
lake, mountain and territorial
views.
Gencare,
Inc. is a Seattle based company
that specializes in the management
of independent and assisted
living communities. Gencare,
Inc, currently manages five
retirement living communities
with a sixth opening in the
Ballard area of Seattle.

non-profit agency serving
older people in Washington.
Established in 1967, the
agency serves over 50,000
seniors and their families
each year through an integrated
system of quality programs
and services. It is a volunteer-supported
non-profit resource providing

Archdiocesan
Housing Authority provides a
continuum of care for homeless
and low-income persons. Fifteen
shelter and transitional programs
offer a warm, safe refuge from
the streets, providing homeless
men, women and children a place
to bathe, launder clothes, and
receive medical attention, alcohol
and drug treatment, and job
counseling. AHA provides more
than 1,500 affordable housing
units in 28 programs, serving
single persons, families, seniors
and persons with special physical
and mental needs throughout

Northwest's mission is
